We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist at our Gray Ohio Valley office in Versailles, KY

What we expect… (Essential Functions)
Leads the company in employee-related activities. Tasks that may be associated are as follows:
Human Resources
Develops and implements human resource systems and Administers review, compensation and benefit plans.Recruits for open positions by determining best methods of reaching applicants. Receives, routes and tracks applicants for internal and governmental reporting. Prepares offer letters; coordinates background and drug screens; and coordinates the employee onboarding Enters data for employees (such as changes, terminations) into required Maintains employee files and records in electronic and paper (as required) form. This includes, but not limited to, personal information, compensation, benefits, I-9’s, and driver records.Ensures compliance with labor Communicates effectively with team members regarding Company benefits’ enrollment and changes. Serves as primary point of contact between team members and third party providers to resolve any issues that may arise.Enters and processes multi-locality Assists in identifying applicable employee training, coordinating group classes and tracking Gather and analyze data with HR metrics (i.e., time to hire and employee turnover rates). Provides recommendations t the business based on these analytics.Coordinates employee events, including lunches, birthday and anniversary celebrations and company Prepares timely communication with team members through employee newsletter and text blasts.Tracks employee property (i.e., cell phones, computers, I-pads, credit cards, etc).Safety Related
Prepares for new construction projects by furnishing required job-site postings and job start-up packets; and identifying medical locations for injuries.Tracks all incidents and communicates with partners in Risk Management and Insurance Carriers regarding all claims. Serves as primary point of contact for workers compensation claims.Prepares annual OSHA Orders safety PPE and other employee apparelDistributes weekly Safety-Talk Sheets and tracks participation for reward-based Requests 811 tickets as needed for ongoing projectsGeneral Administration
Maintains common office areas, such as kitchen, work rooms, supply closets and storage Orders supplies asBe personally responsible for having a productive day by offering assistance to all team members during slow periods. Will also serve as a back-up for administrative team members during breaks and vacations.
Other duties may be assigned.
Who we want… (Requirements)The successful candidate will have an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and four (4) years of experience in an human resources position(s); or the equivalent combination of both. Experience in construction or engineering firm is highly preferred.
Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e- mail applications. The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills. Must be physically present in the Versailles office.

Frequently in a normal office environment where noise level is moderate, and temperature/humidity is controlled. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. May be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibrations. Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required. Some travel may be required.
