About the Role: As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead a team of five HR professionals who are responsible for recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and safety. The Human Resource Manager will collaborate with leadership and employees across the organization to develop and implement best practices that align with organizational goals and priorities. This is a key role for someone eager to develop strategies that support workforce engagement, compliance, and operational excellence in the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities: + Lead, coach, and mentor a team of five HR professionals, cultivating a supportive and performance-driven team culture. + Oversee full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract top talent for a variety of roles within the organization. + Manage employee relations, addressing and resolving workplace concerns in a manner that promotes fairness and organizational values. + Ensure the accuracy and administration of employee benefits and compensation programs, aligning policies with industry benchmarks. + Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, including those relating to safety standards (e.g., OSHA compliance). + Collaborate with leadership to design and implement employee engagement strategies, performance management processes, and workforce planning initiatives. + Create and execute training and development programs to build internal capabilities and maximize employee potential. + Oversee workplace safety efforts, including compliance with safety regulations, incident investigations, and implementation of preventive measures. + Support HRIS systems to track and monitor HR metrics, using data insights to steer decision-making. For immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054 Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role within a manufacturing environment • Proven experience in managing Benefit Functions, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with all levels of the organization • Demonstrated knowledge in Compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and other industry-specific regulations • Strong background in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives • Experience in Corporate Recruiting, including sourcing candidates, negotiating offers, and maintaining relationships with recruitment agencies • Proficiency in Compensation & Benefits, including job grading, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration.
