Opportunity Overview
Teradyne Philippines Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven HR Partner for Employee Services, Employee Relations, and Compliance to provide support to its employees in the area of Human Resources. 

The incumbent’s will be a generalist, but specializes and is responsible for the following:

 

Employee Services Assist employees with general employee inquiries or during crises by providing guidance related to employee policies and procedures.  Provides information and facilitates the mobility requirements of the employee travelling locally or overseas. Facilitates employee-related meetings for site such as but not limited to focus group discussions, meetings with operations supervisors and managers.  Communicate updates and information to the employees in relation to the scope of work.  Partner with managers to implement crisis management and business continuity plans, ensure HR-related readiness for unforeseen events. Lead employee well-being programs, including mental health initiatives, work-life balance, and wellness activities.

 

Compliance Proactively ensures that the site is compliant with regulatory and local employment laws and regulations.  Ensures that the company policies are aligned and updated with the current government and local requirements.  Participates in the audit activities of the site. Review, monitor, update, and implement employee policies and procedures that are initiated by the government or are company initiated.  Oversees and administers regulatory compliance requirements of the site such as DOLE reports, RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), internal and external audit, and labor-related audits. Reviews payroll and benefits instruction file(s).  Owns the implementation of corrective actions and improvement plans based on audit findings and recommendations, ensuring timely completion and ongoing compliance.

 

Employee/Labor Relations and Discipline Management Facilitates resolution of employee-related grievances or issues. Guides supervisors in conflict management. Takes the role of a resource person and facilitator of the discipline management process of the company.  Timely filing of related company or government forms and reports around discipline management.  Partner with managers to develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and improve retention rates Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to provide recommendations for improvement

 

 

Other Roles Ensures that records and documents related to employee services, compliance, and employee discipline are recorded accurately and processed timely in accordance with government and company guidelines. Facilitate training sessions related to the function. Partner with managers to identify and nurture high-potential employees, supporting succession planning efforts. Create and generate reports and maintain databases. Collaborate with internal and external customers on services to achieve service excellence.  Promote and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Must be a graduate of a behavioral science degree or the equivalent. Must have 8-10 years of proven experience in the areas of labor relations, employee services, and compliance.  Must possess a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations. Must have knowledge and background in managing policies on data privacy, discipline management, employee-related conflicts, and grievances. Must have experience in doing or participating in internal and external audits.  Must have experience in maintaining, developing, and implementing HR policies and procedures. Must have skills and experience in data gathering, report generation, creation of databases, and data analysis. Preferred to have knowledge and experience in Responsible Business Alliance (RBA). Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to work in a team.  Experience in all other HR functions is a plus.

 

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
