As a Human Resources Training Intern largely supporting the training team you will play a vital role in assisting with various functions, particularly in areas related to employee training and development. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals to gain practical experience in human resources, training design, and implementation. Additionally, you will be able to participate in hands-on projects that directly influence the effectiveness of training solutions for our teams.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.
· Assist with coordination of the new hire orientation
· Maintain training records for Spartanburg Assembly Plant team members
· Contribute to the creation of engaging training content that enhances employee skills and knowledge
· Help identify training needs within the organization and propose effective solutions to bridge knowledge gaps
· Assist with recruiting events including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs and campus recruiting as needed
· Assist with maintenance of confidential employee and applicant information utilizing various Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
· Support the training team with relevant projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in human resources, business, education, or a related field.
· Available to commit to at least 30 hours a week during the internship period
· Expected graduation date of December 2025 or later
· Willing to travel or relocate to Spartanburg, SC for the Summer of 2025
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficient in software tools related to training development (e.g., Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems, etc.)
· Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
· Ability to learn new programs quickly in a fast-paced team environment
· Outstanding oral and written communication, organizational, prioritization and leadership skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· Strong teamwork skills and proficiency working in a collaborative environment
· Strong listening and retention skills
· Ability to work independently at times to achieve goals
· Excellent interpersonal skills
Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
