Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing and medical device sector. This role requires a professional who is adept at managing HR functions in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will play a key role in driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:Recruitment and Staffing:
Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent for all manufacturing and medical device-related positions. Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, create job descriptions, and ensure timely recruitment of qualified candidates. Manage onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires.Employee Relations and Engagement:
Act as a liaison between management and employees to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment. Implement employee engagement programs and initiatives aimed at improving retention and morale. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding workplace policies, benefits, and career development.Training and Development:
Develop and execute training programs to ensure employees are up-to-date on industry regulations, safety protocols, and skills development. Work closely with department managers to identify areas for training and career advancement.Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including labor regulations in manufacturing and medical device production. Oversee safety programs, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, FDA regulations). Conduct regular audits and investigations to ensure regulatory compliance.Performance Management:
Support managers in the implementation of performance review processes. Provide guidance in creating performance improvement plans and handling disciplinary actions when necessary.Compensation and Benefits:
Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness within the industry. Manage annual compensation reviews and benefits enrollment processes.HR Strategy and Reporting:
Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with the overall business objectives. Provide regular HR metrics and reporting to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR activities. Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or medical device industry setting. Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and manufacturing regulations.Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.Other:
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA) is highly desirable. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
