Job Title: Human Resources Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support and ensure compliance with various HR processes. This role includes preparing new hire paperwork, processing checks, managing documentation, and supporting the Talent team with recruiting efforts.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Process MVR and checks for new hires and job site requirements.
+ Ensure drug screens are completed for new hires.
+ Process I-9 documentation through E-Verify for compliance.
+ Assist the Talent team with sourcing and recruiting needs as required.
+ Upload documents into OnBase.
+ Ensure all state and federal posters are compliant.
+ Process and file unemployment claims.
+ Manage the vacation/sick time tracking process.
+ Provide quality administrative support including filing, producing, and maintaining spreadsheets and reports.
+ Perform effectively and confidently, occasionally without supervision.
+ Prepare and maintain agendas and other resources for meetings.
+ Facilitate onsite training and employee orientation as needed.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 1 year of relevant human resources administrative support experience.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging, proactive, and team-based style.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Valid driver’s license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge or experience within a mechanical contracting firm is a plus but not required.
+ High school diploma or equivalent is required.
+ Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, OneNote, and Excel).
Work Environment
Office environment. Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
