About the Role

As an HR Advisor, you'll be the trusted expert in all things HR. You will act as a key business partner to our operational managers by providing strategic guidance and support. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring best practices in HR are followed throughout our hotels. Specifically, this role will include:

\n\nProviding expert advice to managers and team members on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.\nSupporting a positive and productive workplace by coaching leaders, resolving conflicts, and managing performance-related matters.\nOverseeing recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes to attract, develop, and retain top talent.\nFacilitating learning and development programs with a strong focus on talent retention, career growth, and succession planning.\nLeading initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and workplace culture across our hotels.\nAssisting with HR administration and reporting.

What are we looking for?

\n\nAt least 3 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.\nStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.\nExperience coaching and supporting managers to develop their teams.\nSolid Industrial Relations knowledge and understanding of Australian employment awards (HIGA 2020).\nExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.\n\n
