The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support within the Human Resources department.  

Responsibilities Provide general administrative and office support to the Human Resources teamCoordinate activity for new employee set-up and onboarding processes, including interaction and partnership with other departmentsPrepare internal memos, communications, and reports with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. Quality check and update documents against company standards. Maintain and update employee personnel and medical files. Coordinate the records retention process for the department. Liaison for departmental vendor relationships. Responsible for evaluating supply cost and reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy. Coordinate events supported by the Human Resources department which may include making necessary travel arrangements and lunchesProvide administrative support to other departments for new initiatives, as appropriate and neededDevelop and maintain strong professional relationships on behalf of the department with both internal and external clients Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fieldAt least 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources or Administrative Assistant role; internship experience will be consideredProficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS WordFamiliarity with an HRMS/HRIS system is preferred but not requiredProactive approach to managing multiple work tasks in an efficient and organized mannerDisplays initiative and assumes responsibility with limited supervisionAbility to manage competing or changing priorities with poise and professionalismHigh level of accuracy in work products and outputExceptional oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skillsExperience with handling sensitive and confidential information with discretionGoal-oriented, team player with the ability to work both independently and interdependentlyAbility to work Monday through Friday from 8 am - 5 pm with occasional overtime is requiredMust be dependable and reliable #LI-TJ1
