Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Job Description

This position will be responsible for providing functional support to the Human Resources Department, while supporting employee and business needs in delivering outstanding HR service for the U.S.-based populations. This role also provides an opportunity to learn and build the foundation for a career in HR while also developing important skills and working with various levels of the organization. Support functions include areas such as new hire onboarding, orientation, training, terminations, immigration, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and reporting. This is a hybrid role requiring 4-6 days in a month on-site in the office.

ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support within the HR department and respond to employee inquiries.Conduct New Hire Orientation and coordinate with Talent Acquisition and IT teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.Perform in-person Form I-9 verification and manage unemployment claims.Manage the termination process through Workday, including exit paperwork, exit interviews, and any other necessary termination processes.Prepare monthly Business Unit Dashboards, manage HR data tracking and metrics, and generate standard reports from Workday.Assist in communicating policies and procedures to employees.Assist with immigration matters.Provide support for the annual compensation process.Assist HRBP in training presentations.Partner with our Global HR counterparts in assisting with employee inquiries and profile updates.Assist with project work as needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2+ years of experience in HR Administration.Knowledge of onboarding processes, such as Form I-9 verification.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint, as well as VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables in Excel.Strong HR system experience, with Workday experience highly preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.Customer service experience responding to inquiries, interacting with employees daily, maintaining documents, and providing support.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferably in human resources, business, or related field; or equivalent experience.Experience working for a decent-sized organization or in financial services is preferred.Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in Union, NJ or Windsor, CT, requiring 4-6 days on-site each month.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00
