Description
We’re thrilled to assist our client in North County in locating a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join their team. The HR Assistant will support the overall HR department in helping recruit, support, and manage talent while ensuring compliance and cultural alignment with the company’s values and goals. This is a dynamic role where you’ll work across many aspects of HR, from recruitment and onboarding to maintaining employee records and assisting in the development of HR policies. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their HR career in an engaging and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
+ Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and guide employees to the appropriate resources.
+ Maintain and update employee records, including personal details, benefits, and payroll information, in the HR database.
+ Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and positive experience through orientation and completion of required documentation.
+ Help develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with federal and state regulations.
+ Participate in employee engagement initiatives, training sessions, and performance evaluation processes.
+ Monitor and replenish HR department supplies and materials as needed.
Requirements
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
+ Previous experience in an HR or administrative role a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with employees.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HR software or databases is a bonus.
+ High level of organization and attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
