Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Employee Relations) in the Employee Relations Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will provide technical support to the LER team with management inquiries, employee suitability, discipline, adverse actions and performance management. You will prepare and review documentation to be processed and ensure the administrative action is complete and accurate before and after processing. You will establish, review and closeout administrative files and reports. You will review regulations, follow processes and procedures, and conduct research in order to provide advice and answers to customers. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with coworkers and employees through effective listening and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate At the DG-04 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05/06) or pay band (DG-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Human Resources Assistant (Employee Relations). Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Independently providing technical support and advice to coworkers, employees, and supervisors at various levels of an organization; (2) Applying a wide range of methods used to gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning management processes; (3) Independently summarizing information from files and documents, ensuring all administrative actions are complete and accurate; and (4) Independently manage administrative case files and tracking databases efficiently and timely. At the DG-03 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04/05) or pay band (DG-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Human Resources Assistant (Employee Relations). Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Providing technical support and advice to coworkers, employees, and supervisors at various levels of an organization; (2) Summarizing information from files and documents; and (3) Managing administrative case files and tracking databases efficiently and timely.
