Responsibilities You will be providing administrative and program support, advice and guidance to co-workers, employees, and supervisors at various levels of the organization. You will provide technical support to the LER (Labor Employee Relations) team with management inquiries, employee suitability, discipline, adverse actions and performance management. You will prepare and review documentation to be processed and ensures the administrative action is complete and accurate before and after processing. You will be responsible for the establishment, review and closeout of administrative files and reports. You will review regulations, follow processes and procedures, and conduct research in order to provide advice and answers to customers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR DG-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or DG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical support and advice to coworkers, employees, and supervisors at various levels of an organization; 2) Summarizing information from files and documents; and 3) Manage administrative case files and tracking databases efficiently and timely. FOR DG-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or DG-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Independently providing technical support and advice to coworkers, employees, and supervisors at various levels of an organization; 2) Applying a wide range of methods used to gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning management processes; 3) Independently summarizing information from files and documents, ensuring all administrative actions are complete and accurate; and 4) Independently manage administrative case files and tracking databases efficiently and timely. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education The following education may be substituted for specialized experience: FOR DG-03 ONLY: 4 years above high school This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.
