Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY/OA) in the Marine Corps Recruiting Command of 1ST MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will manage the administration of the Officer Candidate Course (OCC) and Platoon Leaders Class (PLC) officer commissioning programs. You will apply appropriate regulations and guidelines associated with Marine Officer Programs. You will manage the Platoon Leaders Class Financial Assistance Program (FAP) and Marine Corps Tuition Assistance Program (MCTAP). You will initiate and coordinate candidate's security clearance. You will track all administrative phases of the medical screening process. You will serve as Marine Corps Recruiting Information Support System (MCRISS) database manager. You will provide accurate program information to applicants in a professional manner. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing clerical support such as administering background screening, reviewing documents, and/or processing applicant packages for commissioning programs (e.g. Marine Corps Officer Programs - the Platoon Leaders Class (PLC), the Officer Candidates Class (OCC), or similar programs).
