This essential position involves performing the day-to-day responsibilities in the following areas:
HRIS entryRunning and distributing various reportsAssisting with payroll processingSubmitting background checksProcessing new hires,Tracking review forms and other dataActing as department assistant backupAnswering phonesProviding general customer serviceVerifying and maintaining I-9 documentation.Acting as a positive OMRF ambassadorOur new teammate may also provide project assistance, offer recommendations for processes, and perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education and experience.
The successful candidate must be extremely detail oriented, adaptable, reliable and customer focused. The ability to multi-task, maintain strict confidentiality, function effectively in a team environment as well as independently, work effectively with a highly diverse customer group, and demonstrate basic problem-solving skills is essential. Must have excellent computer (MS Office Suite), communication and organizational skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with an HRIS or payroll system (especially ADP) and with previous data entry experience strongly preferred. Previous experience in a biomedical research, university, or non-profit setting a plus.
Work HoursMonday and Tuesday mornings strongly preferred. Flexible options available between Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
