Human Resources Associate, FT McLeod Seacoast

Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.  

An HR Associate provides essential support to employees by addressing inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll. They play a key role in onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role requires a high level of professionalism, as the HR Associate represents McLeod’s values and standards in every interaction. Additionally, they collaborate with HR team members to improve processes and enhance the overall employee experience, fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.

1. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll.

2. Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.

3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

4. Ensure compliance with McLeod policies and legal regulations.

5. Collaborate with HR team members to improve HR processes.

6. Enhance the overall employee experience by fostering a positive workplace culture.

7. Support various HR projects and initiatives as needed.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Training:

1-3 years of experience in an HR role.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school
