Human Resources Business Partner

SUMMARY 

The HR Business Partner is a critical member of our team, focused on building strong partnerships with our business leaders to drive organizational success. The incumbent in this role understands the business objectives and works collaboratively to create and implement HR strategies that support these goals.

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting 3 or more Business units in all HR-related concerns, issues and goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with management to proactively assess needs and identify and implement tactical and strategic solutions.

Ensure a legally compliant and best practice approach to employee relations to encourage the attraction and retention of high-quality employees. Provide coaching and counseling to managers and employees. Ensure consensus and cohesion of practices and policies within all partnership groups. Implement and monitor human resources strategies, initiatives, policies, and procedures. Develop and review policies and procedures for the employee handbook and the human resources policy and procedure manual and recommend changes, as needed to ensure best practices. Provide HR visibility within the organization while maintaining confidential information and documents. Assist in the identification and management of employee relations activities. Partner with the business and the recruiting function in ensuring talents are acquired and developed. Coordination and support of special projects, as assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in any course Human Resources experience in a fast-paced corporate setting with at least 3 years in a generalist role Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated abilities to establish, develop, and maintain productive business relationships at all levels of the organization, particularly at the executive level Persuasive, relationship-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment Strong analytical and time management skills Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Professional demeanor, dependable, and able to maintain confidential information Flexible, detailed, and able to successfully accept change Able to work extended hours when required Experience in a large, complex multi-level organization highly preferred Experience utilizing an HRIS system is preferred
