What You’ll Do
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be Responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources for the Western and Iron Range Retail Sales & Field Operations Sites and Emulsion Network. You will work hand in hand with the HR Director(s) and the leadership teams to develop and implement company policy and strategies which enable delivering positive business and financial results. Other duties include:

Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations Lives and fosters the Incitec Pivot Limited (IPL) values Works closely with the functional leadership teams to influence and ensure our business culture is driven by our company values Supports Continuous Improvement initiatives and ensures participation from all areas of responsibility Responsible for partnering with the Dyno Nobel America's HR team to design and implement strategic organizational development programs and initiatives targeted at enabling business objectives (such as talent and succession planning, structure alignments, and workforce optimization Responsible for working with the site leadership teams to plan and implement workforce solutions to ensure long-term business continuity and success Develop effective working relationships while influencing and challenging the management teams on their personal style and the development and delivery of their people plans in support of business and HR strategies. Works with the Talent Acquisition Team as well as management with internal and external recruitment efforts, including requisition approvals, internal postings, external recruiting, interviewing and selection of employees. Implement Affirmative Action program to ensure fair and equal employment opportunities for all candidates. Oversees the administration of all company compensation and benefits programs including local pay practices to ensure compliance and equity within the organization as well as conducts wage surveys of local labor market to determine competitive wage information and formulate recommendations to senior management. Leads management in understanding and applying all employee relations policies and procedures as well as ensures all investigations and employee actions (such as discipline and terminations) are handled fairly and according to agreed protocols Leads the development of employees through the effective use and promotion of the performance management process for goal setting, providing feedback, developing employees and assessing job performance. Provides coaching and training to employees and management for selection and promotion processes, terminations, employee relations, employment law, performance management, and other regulatory required programs, as determined. What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor degree in HR, Business Management or related field Masters Degree or HR Certification desired but not required 5+ years Human Resource Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner related work Experience and knowledge of California and Oregon Laws (preferred) Explosives, Mining or Construction Industry experience helpful but not required Experience leading the HR Function in a multi-site/location organization (preferred) Extensive knowledge of Labor and Employment regulations Ability to travel up to 50% depending on projects Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

Annual Salary Range*: $100,000 - $130,000 DOE
*Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. The salary range is Dyno Nobel’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
