Human Resources Business Partner
Job Summary

This temporary position will be part of the Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) business unit and will provide HR support for operations at the Carlisle plants. This role is intended to provide coverage while a permanent employee is on leave, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable HR experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The position is responsible for day-to-day HR support to employees, as well as assisting in the coordination, development, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and programs designed to ensure a trained, compensated, and motivated workforce that meets the company’s organizational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities: Partners with the Talent Acquisition Department regarding employment functions, which include recruiting, applicant screening, and managing job postings. for internal/external candidates in accordance with company and legal guidelines. Partners with people leaders in facilitating the use of temporary employment agencies. Serves as the point of contact at the facility level regarding human resource policies and procedures and responsible for guidance to all employees to insure consistent adherence to these. Coordinates and conducts open enrollment, payroll changes/assistance/support, leaves of absence, unemployment, hiring and terminations and submits proper forms to Corporate HR for processing. Participates in all safety programs including all related meetings, committees, training, and Coordinates, facilitates, and/or assists in all training activities within the facility (i.e. safety compliance, orientation programs, anti-harassment training, etc.). Assists and conducts onsite employee relation Advises HR Manager and management in appropriate resolution of employee relations Effectively supports and fosters the company's Open-Door Administers the Worker's Compensation program including documentation of injuries and administration of potential claims. Maintains all personnel records in accordance with EEO, privacy, and related Promotes teamwork with all departments to build continual improvement within the Coordinates and ensures regulatory compliance with the HR program, including posting required notifications, generating applicable documentation, and maintenance of employee files. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline related to functional Preferred 2 to 4 years of prior Human Resources experience required; manufacturing industry experience Working Conditions: Office Occasional exposure to manufacturing Monday – Friday, typically 8 am – 5 Other hours may be required to meet the needs of all shifts.
