We are looking for an energetic HR professional to manage our Branson US HR organization. The role is based at our Novi, MI location. As the Human Resources Business Partner, you are responsible for all aspects of human resources practices and processes for Branson US. You will be the strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives and functions with overall strategic objectives.
You will report to the Vice President of HR Discrete Automation and Branson Americas and be a key member of the Branson Americas leadership team, a strategic advisor to our business leaders and main responsible person for all local HR activities. This position formulates partnerships across the Discrete Automation HR team to deliver valuable services to management and employees. You will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and act as an employee champion and change agent.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Build strong partnership with management and employees to coordinate personnel actions, create a work environment equipped to meet business needs and maintain an efficient and active two-way communication between them. Proactively identify HR challenges together with the HR Director Americas and offer solutions to create a sustainable and effective work environment. Lead local HR projects and support Americas/global projects. Administer and develop effective policies, procedures, and programs to uphold fair and equitable practices and guarantee adherence to law and labor agreements. Interpret, advise, and counsel employees and management on policies and HR procedures. Analyze trends and metrics, seeking opportunities and strategies to improve trends in turnover, retention, and key indicators of employee and customer engagement. Research and respond to employee concerns and investigate claims and allegations, document findings, recommend, and implement resolution. Lead and support the implementation of HR programs and processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, compensation, and benefits. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance; partnering with HR leadership and/or legal as needed/required. Provide HR policy mentorship and interpretation. Collaborate and drive company communication strategies. Drive employee engagement strategies to support a positive work environment. Collaborate with EHS regarding any safety concerns brought forward by employees. Ensure personnel files and other employment records are kept in accordance with the company’s record retention policy and applicable state/federal laws.Who you are:

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field Relevant years of proven HR experience in a combination of operations, employee relations, business partnering, and talent acquisition commensurate with the level of the position. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and Emerson policies. Experience and skill with HR information systems and digital collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost integrity. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
