Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description

The HRBP position will start as temporary to cover for an internal employee leave. There is a chance this could become a permanent role, but it is not guaranteed. The position is responsible for day-to-day HR support to employees, as well as assisting in the coordination, development, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and programs designed to ensure a trained, compensated, and motivated workforce that meets the company’s organizational needs. This person will need to be comfortable speaking in front of 100+ employees.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Talent Acquisition Department regarding employment functions, including recruiting, applicant screening, and managing job postings for internal/external candidates in accordance with company and legal guidelines.Partner with people leaders in facilitating the use of temporary employment agencies.Serve as the point of contact at the facility level regarding human resource policies and procedures and provide guidance to all employees to ensure consistent adherence.Coordinate and conduct open enrollment, payroll changes/assistance/support, leaves of absence, unemployment, hiring and terminations, and submit proper forms to Corporate HR for processing.Participate in all safety programs, including related meetings, committees, and training.Coordinate, facilitate, and/or assist in all training activities within the facility (e.g., safety compliance, orientation programs, anti-harassment training).Assist and conduct onsite employee relations.Advise HR Manager and management in the appropriate resolution of employee relations.Effectively support and foster the company's Open-Door policy.Administer the Worker's Compensation program, including documentation of injuries and administration of potential claims.Maintain all personnel records in accordance with EEO, privacy, and related regulations.Promote teamwork with all departments to build continual improvement within the organization.Coordinate and ensure regulatory compliance with the HR program, including posting required notifications, generating applicable documentation, and maintaining employee files.Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as needed.Essential Skills3+ years of HR experience within manufacturingBachelor's Degree in HR or a relevant field (business, psychology, etc.)Additional Skills & QualificationsCertifications are a plus (SHRM, PHR, etc.)Work Environment

Office environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing floor. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (must be flexible to be there outside of the normal shift as needed for different shift employees meetings, events, etc). Dress code: business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr.
