Human Resources Business Partner Lake Mary, FL Full Time Experienced Share (https://tidalbasin.applytojob.com/app/share/U6PYFPUFjp) Position Summary : Acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning human resource practices with company goals by providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, talent acquisition, and compensation.  Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.  This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for individuals at all levels throughout the company Job Duties and Responsibilities include: + Prepares offer letters and works closely with Talent Acquisition Team to facilitate recruiting process and onboarding of new employees + Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units to ensure we are staying on pace with hiring needs, hiring projections, etc. + Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. + Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. + Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. + Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required. + Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). + Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention; promotes positive working relationships within teams + Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. + Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers. + Provides guidance and input on team building, growth, employee relations matters, succession planning, etc. + Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs. + Responsible for ensuring all employees within the Business Unit are compliant with required compliance training upon hire and annually thereafter + Travel required – to be determined based on business needs + Perform other duties as assigned + Complete all required compliance training on an annual basis Skills and Competencies: + Self-directed + Excellent communication skills and must be able to express oneself clearly and concisely, both in oral and written format + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy + Relationship building + Leadership + Organization + People Management + Coaching + Conflict resolution + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies. + Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors. + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Required Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required + 5 + years of experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on resolving complex employee relations issues + Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state employment laws + Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite + Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS or similar computer applications + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate + Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations + HR certification a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
