IKO Industries is a manufacturer of quality commercial and residential roofing products and part of the IKO Group of Companies. We presently have a full-time opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team based in Moncton, New Brunswick. Remote work is not available for this position.

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will provide day to day support to the HR Manager and assist with supporting corporate and plant client groups. This is a development role and will provide a great deal of opportunity for learning and professional growth. Role responsibilities will increase in scope, congruent with learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support, data analysis and reports to the HR ManagerProvide day to day support to employees addressing their inquiries and concerns promptlyFacilitate new hire onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory training requirements and helping new employees integrate smoothly into the organizationMaintain accurate and up-to date employee records in WorkdayActively participate in employee engagement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance employee satisfaction and overall organizational cultureEnsure consistent interpretation and application of company policies, procedures, and programs across the organization and also identify areas for improvement or requiring updatesConduct research as needed to develop programs and policies that apply locallyParticipates in the development and delivery of communications to the HR team and client groupsPerform other assigned duties that directly contribute to the overall success of HR and the organization

Qualifications:

A college diploma or university degree, specializing in Human resources is preferred3 years’ experience working in Human ResourcesWorking towards CHRP designation preferredExperience in manufacturing and/or industrial sectors is an asset

Attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to multi task and effectively manage rapidly changing prioritiesUnderstanding and knowledge of ESA , Human Rights Code, and OHSAAbility to organize workload effectivelyAbility to work with minimum supervisionA strong understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HRExcellent judgment and problem-solving skillsProficient in MS Office
