This position is responsible for conducting market research, evaluating job positions, and supporting the development and administration of compensation programs. Responsibilities Compensation Analysis Analyze and evaluate external market data, compensation trends, and internal salary data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices. Conduct benchmarking studies to compare job roles and salaries with industry standards. Develop and maintain salary structures, job grades, and pay ranges. Job Evaluation & Classification Review job descriptions, evaluate roles, and assign appropriate salary grades based on job scope, qualifications, and market data. Support managers and HR partners in conducting job analysis and evaluating new or updated positions. Compensation Program Administration Assist in the annual salary review process, including salary surveys, market adjustments, and merit increases. Prepare and analyze compensation metrics, reports, and recommendations for senior management. Ensure that compensation programs comply with federal and state regulations. Data Management & Reporting Develop, maintain, and analyze compensation data and reports using HR systems and tools. Track and report on compensation-related metrics (e.g., pay equity, market competitiveness, etc.). Consultation & Communication Provide guidance and recommendations to HR business partners and managers on compensation-related matters. Educate employees and management on compensation programs, policies, and practices. Support organizational initiatives related to pay equity, diversity, and inclusion. Qualifications Skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools. Experience working with HRIS and compensation management software. Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation regulations and laws (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience & Education Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field Professional certification (ex: CPP, SHRM-CP) preferred 2-4+ years' experience in compensation analyst, HR analytics or a related field Experience with compensation surveys and market data tools Entry USD $63,648.00/Yr. Expert USD $98,654.40/Yr.
