Human Resources Consultant
The HR Consultant is responsible providing Human Resources advice to business and acting as a Core Value advocate. Participates in Strategic Business meetings to identify the people implications and adjusts to respond to changing business/ functions needs when needed. Summary (job catalog): Plans, develops and coordinates HR initiatives in support of strategic business goals. Provides strategic business partner, service broker and field employee/labor relations services to client group. Articulates implications of HR programs, communicates programs and implications, assists management in implementing HR program or policies changes and supporting Managers when there is no Leader in the Region. Effectively interprets and communicates business group needs and identifies appropriate solutions based on given COE alternatives. Coordinates efforts with other HR Teams to ensure return on development investments across business groups. Maintains awareness and knowledge of contemporary HR management theory and methods, and provide suitable interpretation to staff within the organization. Provides Coaching for people leaders and employees and Provides support on managing complex cases (e.g. performance, health and exit) Mobilizes resources within the HR Team and other areas, as required, to support effective HR management. Partner with COEs (Centers of Expertise) for programs coordination and/or deployment of HR policies and procedures. Contributes to policy development by actively working with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to ensure effective program implementation Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to Human Resource issues relating to the organization. Ensures HR processes with partner groups are in compliance with local legislation (such as in a termination or on-boarding situation). Supports HR organization for data driven decision making Conducts UBIP (Upstanding Behavior Inquiry Process) Investigations to contribute to a positive work environment. Provides support for developing and implementing I&B and Your Voice actions in the country improving the work environment Competencies: Collaborates: building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Ensures Accountability: holds self and others accountable to meet commitments Values differences: recognizes the value different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization Balances stakeholders: anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders Experience needed: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. 2. Seven -Ten years of professional-level experience in Human Resources. 3. Fluency in English is a must.
