Human Resources Consultant *Remote*

Providence is calling for Human Resources Consultant 100% remote for our footprints AK, CA, OR, WA, TX, NM or MT

 As a part of the One HR team, the HR Consultant is responsible for serving as a strategic consultant to local HR and business leaders who face employee or labor relations matters where content and assistance is needed.  They will have the same general job accountability as a HRC or LRC, commensurate with less experience and responsibilities. The role requires utilizing best practice approaches to positive employee and labor relations, adherence to HR policies, compliance with regulatory and policy requirements, conducting non-complex investigations, and project work on workplace environment improvement. Additional areas of accountability may include employee or labor relations research, identification of trends and patterns and need for critical intervention, preparation and delivery of employee or labor relations training, policy development, effective record keeping, data integrity, and affirmative action planning. Provides expertise and appropriate competency based systems to support regulatory requirements to include federal and state employment laws, JCAHO, CMS, OSBN, OSHA and other healthcare related agency requirements.

Required Qualifications:

2 years Professional human resources experience in similar role. Multi-site/location, multi-line of business, and/or integrated health system experience. Demonstrated experience in one of the following specialty areas: labor relations, ADAAA, Leaves of Absence, Affirmative Action, mediation, or OD.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Upon hire: SPHR, PHR certificate.
