Human Resources Coordinator ($23.30 - $36.10 DOE)
**Description** **Essential Duties** : + Participate in follow-through of applicant notification, interview scheduling, and hiring process. + Maintain manual and electronic documents, files, and records, including EEOC, ADA, and applicant tracking, to provide accurate information in compliance with state and federal regulations. + Support departmental recordkeeping, including maintaining HRIS (UKG) and employee personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements, personnel actions, and recruitment lists and job postings. + Assist with new employee orientation processes, prepare new-hire folders for orientation, and ensure employees know current practices and administrative processes. + Maintain Employee Handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information, as needed + Develop and maintain in-house communications, such as bulletin boards and newsletters, to ensure employees are informed about events and general information. + Assist, when necessary, with the coordination of travel requirements. + Assist the department with employee/personnel projects, training, payroll, employee events, and benefits administration. + Establishes various reports and documents to provide current personnel information. + Assists with the Position and Payroll (PNP) process, ensures proper approvals, and disseminates approved forms. + Assist with all onboarding compliance; verifies I-9 documentation, background checks, drug testing. Conducts audits of HR programs and recommends corrective action + Assists with processing of terminations + Schedules meetings and interviews as requested + Prepares flyers and PowerPoint presentations and assists in all necessary preparation for local events + Performs other administrative duties as deemed necessary. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required. Three (3) years minimum administrative experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of higher (college) education and experience. Human relations skills to deal effectively with visitors/customers in person or on the telephone. + Proficient in the use of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Publisher) and Microsoft PowerPoint. + Ability to work with numbers accurately. + Excellent phone etiquette. + Ability to accurately type 45 words per minute. + Demonstrate excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills. + Professional appearance. **Benefits** At Carlile Transportation, we understand the importance of fostering a comprehensive and supportive benefits package to enhance the overall well-being of our valued employees. The typical hiring range for this role is $27.63 to $30.35. The actual offer considers multiple factors, including but not limited to education, experience, internal equity, and other organizational needs.
