TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Human Resources Coordinator for the Distribution Center – Manufacturing Facility. HR Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources Support Responsibilities
Function as a business partner to the Distribution and Manufacturing teams.Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.Use human resources information system software to prepare and maintain confidential employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.Advise and participate in coaching and disciplinary action as needed.Payroll and Onboarding
Process accurate timecards for employees and support payroll process.Communicate with employees regarding PTO Balances, Timecard adjustments, special requests, and leave of absence/short-term disability.Assist with recruiting hourly associates.Successfully onboard all new employees by facilitating the successful completion of all necessary documents, creating all new hire accounts, and entering all data in the required systems.Human Resources Team Responsibilities
Assist the Human Resources Department Leader in achieving the overall goals and objectives of the department.Strive for continual improvement in departmental processes and functions.Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience Requirements
4-year degree or equivalent experienceLeadership skills and collaborative thinkingAbility to work effectively in a challenging environment with multiple priorities.Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of the HR teams.Excellent written and oral communication skillsInitiative-taking, self-directed, and organized.Excellent time management and follow-up skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Elevated level of attention to detail and accuracy required.Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment and diplomacy.Must be PC proficient.Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.Available to work evenings/weekends – occasionally, if needed.Bilingual – Preferred, Spanish a plusMust live in or relocate to the Greenville/Anderson, SC area.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen.Repeated motion of hand and fingers.Prolonged periods of sitting.Periodical walking of the facility.
