Human Resources Coordinator
Job Descriptions: Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, has an opening for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator at our facility in Madison, GA. With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia, and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products. Scope and Responsibilities: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing administrative and generalist human resources functions. This position carries out responsibilities in benefits administration, employee relations, training, and assists in carrying out policies and procedures relating to all phases of HR activities. Duties include, but are not limited to: + Coordinate and conduct new hire recruitment and selection, pre-employment screening, background and reference checks, as needed + Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding + Coordinate new benefits enrollment and annual open enrollment periods + Maintains frequent visibility on the production floor for employee support + Responds timely and professionally to all employee inquiries + Coordinates recognition and service award programs + Maintains Uniform, Safety Shoe, and Prescription Safety Glass programs + Leads and coordinates both the Activities Committee and Wellness Committees, including employee events and special projects + Updates electronic monitors + Updates monthly newsletter + Coordinates employees’ leaves of absence, such as FMLA, STD, LTD + Provides timely feedback to employees upon request of a LOA and/or receipt of a certification from physician + Handle confidential information appropriately + Assist with employee relations and keeps Human Resources Manager informed + All other duties as assigned Required Experience: The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities: + Minimum Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field + 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. + PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred + Must possess a thorough knowledge of federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Strong project management skills and attention to detail + Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external customers + Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines under pressure + Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion. + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Keyword: Human Resources Coordinator From: Bard Manufacturing
