Human Resources Coordinator

About This Role

                                                                                                         

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will handle a variety of HR administrative tasks and contribute to our organizational priorities. You will collaborate closely with the Business Aviation HR Business Partners and the HR Leader to streamline processes, implement procedures, and provide comprehensive employee support.

Provide HR support to HR team.Assists with the administration of HR-related programs such as service awards and recognition.Completes and processes unemployment claimsHandles HR related inquiries referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests under the guidance of the HR Leader.HRIS support including data entry and maintenance, report generation and manipulation, research Maintain HR email box, mail and officeProvide timely guidance and assistance to employees to route their concerns to the appropriate member of the HR team.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain complianceMaintain both hard and digital copies of employee’ records.Conduct pre-employment background check screenings, employment verifications and coordinate DOT screening process. Coordinate new hire paperwork and conduct new hire orientation meetings.Abide by company enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.Will be responsible for producing employee data reports and assembling, preparing and analyzing data when needed by the team.Assist employees with payroll questions and payroll processing.Assist with creation, distribution and collection of employee feedback.May conduct research and analyze data on assigned projects. Assist in assuring compliance with Federal and State regulations.Create and organize employee events, meetings and employee recognition.Assist with HR invoices, supplies, ad hoc HR projects and other administrative functions.Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.Responsible for keeping up to date with the latest HR trends and best practice.Other HR related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 3 years of hands on HR experience preferred or a combination of Bachelor's degree with CAE HR experience.Reliable person who enjoys working with a diverse range of individuals and puts employee requirements and needs first.Knowledge of Federal and multi-State employment law and equity regulations.Experience using HR software and HRIS databases.  (Workday preferred)Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.DOT experience ideal.Effective HR administration and project management skills.Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.Willing to take initiative and work independently when needed.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines with solid organizational and time management skills.Meticulous attention to detail with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.Highly computer literate with capability in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and related business and communication tools.
