Human Resources Coordinator
Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Job Description

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will participate in various company-wide workforce and Human Resources initiatives addressing areas of employee development and training programs. You will implement and execute training programs for business groups, conduct New Hire Orientation, and assist in providing guidance and direction in the use of various development tools, approaches, and methods to ensure the effectiveness of programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking development progress, administering employee retention and recognition programs, and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Human Resources teams, site personnel, and management. You will also ensure that human resources files and employment records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date, and provide superior employee administrative support by responding to employment-related inquiries.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in workforce and Human Resources initiatives addressing areas of employee development and training programs.Implement and execute training programs for business groups, including scheduling attendees, organizing training material, and compiling, processing, and recording training assessment and evaluation forms.Conduct New Hire Orientation to ensure new employees are adequately introduced and informed of all pertinent Company information, policies, procedures, and guidelines.Assist in providing guidance and direction in the use of various development tools, approaches, and methods to ensure the effectiveness of programs.Track development progress to assist in employee development, High-Potential programs, succession planning, and promotions.Administer employee retention and recognition programs.Assist the HR Manager to implement effective retention strategies, including recognition, employee surveys, and performance management systems.Seek out and present alternatives to enhance engagement and employee communications.Drive step change to improve communications and morale.Conduct focus group sessions to gain feedback on employee engagement.Identify areas of improvement and ensure action items are addressed and completed.Maintain effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Human Resources teams, site personnel, and management.Ensure human resources files and employment records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date, and filed in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies.Update various reports, logs, and employee database information for HR or client group organization development records.Communicate HR and company policies and programs to site employees as needed.Provide superior employee administrative support by responding to employment-related inquiries, coordinating with related departments, other HR teams, and client groups.Handle confidential material and information in an ethical, professional manner.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field from an accredited institution.2 or more years of generalist HR or office experience with exposure to organizational development and training, employee assistance, benefits administration, employee recognition, and retention programs.5 years of experience in HR.Ability to interact effectively with blue-collar manufacturing workers.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Knowledge of federal and state employment law and equal employment guidelines.Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and guide processes through to closure.High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.Ability to work effectively with site and corporate HR teams, as well as all levels of employees and management.Strong results orientation and a history of driving positive change with measurable results.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with multiple priorities.Ability to learn various processes and policies quickly to perform tasks and provide support as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with HR systems such as ADP, Kronos, SuccessFactors, and UKG.SHRM or PHR certification, with SHRM weighted higher.Demonstrated ability to implement development and training programs within a large corporate environment.Knowledge of core capabilities/competencies approach to staffing and meeting a large organization’s business needs.Experience with innovative sourcing and prescreening activities and related assessment tools.Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, worker’s compensation, safety administration, benefits, employee relations, and providing consultative services to various client groups.Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 9:30 am - 6:30 pm, with every other Friday off (80-9 schedule). There is an alternative schedule of 6 am - 3 pm, totaling 81 hours in a two-week period. The work environment includes a true production floor which may be wet and not the cleanest or most technical space. You must be comfortable interacting with employees in this environment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
