Human Resources Coordinator - Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort

A Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for organizing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staff experience while supporting management on proper policies and procedures. The Human Resources Coordinator also coordinates and implements Team Member activities, workshops and projects, as assigned and provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you serve as an integral component of the Human Resources function by supporting learning and development initiatives. Specifically, a Human Resources Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nSupport the hotel with departmental training requirements\nOrganize, deliver, and evaluate training programs as required\nManage employee relation issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries and grievances etc.\nWork with local organizations and schools to promote the hospitality industry and internships within the Hotel\nSupport and advise Managers on proper policies and procedures\nTaking the lead and executing all Team Member events, activities, committees and workshops ensuring high quality results\nAssist with Social Media initiatives to promote recruitment and showcase positive working atmosphere \nLead and emcee hotel monthly Coffee Break for Team Members, ensuring a fun, joyful and informative atmosphere \nAct as a role model in the cultural and organizational transformation of the Hotel\nProvide input of Training aspects for all activities and plans of the Hotel\nSupport individual and career development for Team Members and Leaders \nHandle with Team Member benefits such as Cross Training, Hilton University and Go Hilton\nConduct New Hire Orientation and guide new Team Members and Interns with their onboarding\nPartner with departments to deliver training programs and other organizational and leadership development interventions when necessary\nMonitor and conduct learning and development reviews with each department\nPrepare annual training & events plans and training & events calendars for the hotel\nAttend all mandatory meetings\nFollow and know emergency procedures as needed\nMaintain a good working relationship with other departments and Team Members\nMaintain communication with departments involved in any assigned Human Resources project/activity\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n\nTertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degree, in Training or Human Resources\n\n
