As a Human Resources Coordinator... Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Helping to oversee the daily operation of the Human Resources department, including the daily operation of the Team Six OfficeTraining, coaching, and counseling of part-time employees of the Human Resources departmentProcessing timesheets for payroll functions, including the adding and tracking of owed hours and MA Earned Sick Time as neededEnforcing Six Flags New England Labor and Break policies by monitoring daily timesheets; informing departments of upcoming violations during daily operationCommunicating to departments of Labor and Break policy violations; tracking the appropriate documentation for each occurrenceAssisting in the recruitment of Part-time Team Members using innovative and creative methods; setting up recruitment events within the community, and communicating with recruitment contacts and potential applicantsAssisting in organizing and coordinating job fairs for the parkHelping to maintain up to date files on job descriptions and postings for park positionsOverseeing a team of 3-6 part-time employees on daily tasks, including delegation of work and projectsCommunicating with departments on employee concerns such as resignations, scheduling conflicts, etc.Assisting in the investigative process for employee misconduct and concernsEnforcing all Six Flags New England policiesAssisting in other areas of the Human Resource DepartmentPerforming other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
1 year of leadership experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizationHigh level of enthusiasm and involvementAbility to handle confidential information and work in a confidential environmentAbility to work in a team environmentAvailable to work flexible hours at nights and on weekendsBe able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English languageOther Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
