FutureCare is excited to open our second location in Anne Arundel County, FutureCare Annapolis. We are looking to hire a group of outstanding leaders to help build the team that will operate this new location.   The facility is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar upgrade project with a goal of opening for business in late spring of 2025.  FutureCare Annapolis will be licensed as a 154-bed skilled nursing facility serving the post-acute and long-term care needs of the community.  FutureCare, voted by our employees as a Top Workplace for 13 years in a row, is an experienced and stable provider serving Maryland for over 36 years.  Our goal is to establish our new facility as a premier provider in Anne Arundel County.

 

FutureCare Annapolis is situated in the suburban Annapolis area near a development called Heritage Harbor which is just a few minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland and has easy access to major travel arteries.  The center will provide ample parking, attractive common areas, and an expansive rehabilitation gym and suite.  Patient rooms are spacious with high ceilings. When the renovations are complete the center will be stunning.

Salary Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives  (if applicable) are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities Oversee all functions of the department to include recruitment, retention, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processingManage all receptionist desk functions which include staffing and customer serviceMaintain and ensure organized employee files retaining Retain required employment data, health/benefits, and compensation documentationConsistently and equitably apply FutureCare’s wage structureInterview applicants, conduct all pre-employment screenings, including but, not limited to – criminal background check, drug screens, reference checks as well as license and employment eligibility verificationsComplete offer letters for all Facility positions and coordinate employee onboarding functionsCoordinate and assist with recruitment policy, including job postings, resume and application review, as well as work with the corporate recruiter(s) for advertisements, facility open house and external eventsSupport department heads with payroll management and Smartlinx scheduling trainingCoordinate new hire orientation for all new employeesEnsure employees are informed regarding the employee benefit package and the enrollment process is completed within the enrollment periodCoordinate employee recognition eventsConduct exit interviews, identify trends, develop appropriate solutions and action plans accordinglyEssential partner in relation to the workers compensation process including reporting injuries in a timely and manner and completing follow-up requests for thorough documentationAttend required hearings for Unemployment and/or Workers Compensation casesConvey and expresses the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance PlanCoordinate and maintain all accounts payable information as necessary

 

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related fieldSHRM certification or equivalent highly desirable5+ years of experience in payroll and human resourcesMust be detail oriented, able to appropriately prioritize multiple tasksAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employeesSuccessfully meet deadlines while working in a demanding, fast-paced work environmentProficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel requiredExperience with time clock and payroll systems such as Paylocity and Smartlinx Proven experience in human resources leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare setting
