Our property management company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting day-to-day HR operations, fostering a collaborative workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment policies and procedures across our diverse portfolio of properties.

How Our Employees Make an Impact:

The Human Resources Generalist helps managers make decisions relating to human resources, such as maintaining good relationships with employees and working with recruiting to hire new talent. The generalist will administer general human resources duties, such as payroll, benefits, and training. Duties include but are not limited to:

\n\nGuide managers in employee relations.\nAdminister employee compensation, training and benefit programs.\nActs as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.\nProcess, verify and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, training and performance evaluations.\n\n Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

\n\nPositive attitude, solution oriented and self-motivated.\nEmotionally intelligent and objective decision maker.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\nHigh level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.\nTech savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office 365, ADP, mobile devices.\nStrong knowledge of business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).\nKnowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures.\nExpertise in Title VII, FLSA, ADA/ADAAA, FMLA, COBRA and other applicable laws.\nKnowledge of FMLA/leave administration, performance management, unemployment and workers’ compensation, and employee relations.\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\nKnowledge of State and local governmental compliance requirements.\nExperienced in conflict resolution techniques.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\n\n

Education & Experience

\n\nBachelor’s Degree preferred\n4+ years of related experience\nBilingual English/Spanish beneficial\nHR Certification preferred\n\n

Travel Requirements

\n\nPeriodic travel within the service area\n\n
