Human Resources Generalist

Our client is looking for a Human Resources Generalist in Shiremanstown, PA to join their team. You will be responsible for handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. The HR Generalist must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with management and employees at all levels.

Responsibilities:

Advise employees and leaders on all employee relations matters, including but not limited to, performance management, coaching, conduct, grievances, complaints, investigations, absences and leaves, organizational change, and exit interviewsPrepare and manage new employee onboarding in partnership with team members and leaders within the warehouseResponsible for people-related metrics and collaborating with corporate data analytics teamFacilitates proper employee documentation and records in HR systems, compiling reports as needed to ensure employee databases remain accurate and up to dateDevelop, implement, reinforce, and modify HR policies, programs, and proceduresAudit HR policies, programs, and procedures against relevant legislation and best practices and recommends improvementsProvide advice and assistance to employees and managers on HR policies, programs, and proceduresResolve HR inquiries or escalates to the appropriate individual depending on severityAssists in the preparation of HR training material and validates Managers and employees are aware of appropriate HR policies, programs, and procedures and their accountabilitiesSupport the VP of HR in implementing efficiently and effectively talent management programs: performance management, succession planning, diversity and inclusion and special projectsEnsure projects are completed on time and meet project goalsProvide support for onboarding and offboarding, including managing logistics with appropriate teams (e.g., IT, HR shared services) and assisting with exit interviews

Experience

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related fieldBilingual in Spanish and English in order to effectively support and communicate with VGM employee owners, ensuring everyone is heard2-3 years of experience in a professional HR role, preferably in a distribution center, warehouse, or related industryHR certification or willingness to pursue basic certificationExperience working with HR information systemsDemonstrated skills with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Pay and Shift:

Monday-Friday8:00 AM - 5:00 PM$62,400 to $68,640
