Human Resources Generalist

Description:
• Supports in the recruitment, interviewing, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Use human resources information system software to prepare and maintain confidential employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
• Provide information and assistance to employees regarding compensation and benefits programs. Assist with benefits enrollment and address employee questions or concerns about benefits.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
• Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation
• Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion, inclusive of employee data, performance coaching, strategic company information, and FMLA/ADA/LOA/WC issues
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-3-5+ years of full cycle HR experince
-Must have experience in: recruiting, benefits, employee relations, legalities
-Experience processing payroll
-Working knowledge of HRIS
-Working experince with excel and other Microsoft platforms
-SHRM is a huge plus
