THE ROLE: Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of a very hands-on and fast-paced team at our Fulfillment center in Shepherdsville, KY (ONSITE). The person in this highly visible role will assist with the day-to-day Associate engagement, exhibit broad HR knowledge, administer company policies and offer support to the Management team. The person in this role will maintain confidentiality while providing a high level of service to associates.
What You’ll Do:
Facilitates new hire orientation and assists in processing new hire onboarding paperwork as needed. Be the face of the People Team. Actively engaging with Associates and Management Team in the Warehouse up to 2 hours per day, to create a positive and supportive work environment. Lead company recognition programs and monthly engagement events. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave of absence; handle employee relations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Responsible for employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Performs other duties as assigned.About You:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field 2+ years' related experience High proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Must be a team player and enjoy service-oriented type of work. Enthusiasm and desire to engage and contribute ideas to the team is a must. Ability to stay current with HR best practices and the willingness to learn new tasks. Must be willing to take initiative & ownership. Strong overall computer and administrative skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and follow-through. Flexible during times of transition and change.
