Position Description
As a Human Resources Generalist for Advanced Thermal Systems (ATS) at Modine Manufacturing, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR function within the ATS business. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR tasks aimed at promoting employee engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization’s success while growing your HR career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.This position may work closely with other verticals and HR peers in the Performance Technologies segment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HR services including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation and health benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and personnel transactions. Represent the employer at community and recruiting events. Address employee questions and concerns, including those related to safety, welfare, wellness, and health. Develop HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action. Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, and coaching and counseling managers and employees. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. Conduct employee investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Manage tasks in SuccessFactors. Promote a positive work culture and employee morale through various initiatives. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Communicate policy updates and ensure compliance across the organization. Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions. Facilitate internal communications related to HR initiatives, events, and announcements.
Required Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources Generalist role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday) Ability to work independently and confidentially with limited direction Strong strategic and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated successful track record working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is required SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
