Human Resources Generalist Job Number: 354617 Category: -Corporate Description: A Human Resources Generalist job in Houston, TX 77032 is currently available at Belcan. This individual will oversee and coordinate human resources activities at the assigned client manufacturing location. In this role you will be the interface to all Belcan contractor employees providing guidance, support, and resolution to various workplace processes and issues. You will collaborate closely with HR teams, managers, and employees to address concerns, mitigate conflicts, and uphold organizational core values. Principle Responsibilities: 1. Coach employees toward high performance, growth, and accountability. 2. Ensure employees complete mandated Compliance training established by Cognizant, Belcan and Federal and State authorities. 3. Coordinate with client employee requests for time off and leave(s). 4. Conduct new employee orientation. 5. Deliver any needed paperwork to corporate HR. 6. Enforce Belcan's policies and procedures. 7. Seek guidance and collaborate closely with WFS HR on major relations investigations and disciplinary action. 8. Coordinate the hiring and termination process with client and employee. May conduct exit interviews as required. 9. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Qualifications: A. Education: Bachelor's degree in HR or another related field required or equivalent experience. B. Experience: Three to five years of experience in Human Resources. C. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Decisional Authority: Under general supervision, exercises independent judgment within scope of job and makes decisions within existing guidelines.
