The HR Generalist @ BridgePoint at Los Altos will assist in providing human resources support to all assigned communities.
This is a full-time salaried position, Monday-Friday.
Salary range: $85-95k/yr
What will I do every day?
Assist each assigned community in complying with human resources related company policies, as well as all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulationsWorks with each community management team to carry out Associate file auditsAttends and helps to plan All Staff and CMT meetingsEnsures that consistent processes/polices are implemented across communitiesSupports Associates and managers with all human resources practices and programsAs needed, assist hiring managers (and Recruiter) with posting of open positions, screening of resumes, assisting with the group interview process and coordination of other interviewsPartners with Recruiter to coordinate all pre-employment requirementsManages post-hire procedures for all assigned communities that includes “first day essential” process and onboarding for new associate orientation programCoordinate associate training programs and maintain training recordsCoordinate and support all appropriate associate termination procedures; submit for approval of involuntary terminations to Sr HR SupervisorWork with Supervisor and Executive Director, as appropriate, to investigate, appropriately address, and resolve Associate grievances and complaintsMonitor and respond to unemployment claimsWork with Supervisor and Executive Director to handle workers’ compensation claimsCoordinate all leaves of absence with Supervisor and Executive Director as necessary in accordance with applicable policies and lawsCommunicate, coordinate and assist associates with benefits (including OE) and recognition programsResponsible for the accuracy of associate data within HRIS systemResponsible for ensuring that all supervisors manage and approve all timecard accurately and on-timeDistribute paychecks and conduct self-audits as appropriate
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Special Requirements and/or Certifications:
Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM CP or SHRM SCP certification preferred
