Human Resources Generalist - Temporary

This role is contract position lasting about 1 year to support our onsite team with the day to day Human Resources functions while our team goes through Workday Implementation. 

Summary: Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Develops policies and procedures for and supports the Foreign National employees as a business partner. Maintains records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting and Affirmative Action Plans. Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment. Researches training programs, as requested by managers or as required for Corporate-wide training. Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Administers performance review program for the groups/departments to which incumbent is assigned, to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program for the groups/departments to which the incumbent is assigned, to ensure compliance and equity within organization. Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews for the groups/departments to which the incumbent is assigned, to determine reasons behind separations.

Qualifications:

4-year degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations 3+ years of related experience required Union or Labor Relations experience preferred
