Human Resources Generalist Transdev in Baltimore, Maryland is hiring a Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist supports the management team with full cycle recruiting and other HR-related responsibilities. The HR Generalist undertakes a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves and communicating Company policies. HR Generalist will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding, compliance, benefits, and leave, Handles all administrative tasks including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Manager or appropriate staff.Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, and contribute to the development of policiesAssist in administration of employee leaves and accommodations, maintaining accurate internal records and conducting regular audits for accuracyProvide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees.Establish/maintain the accuracy of employee records by both manual data entry and auditing the database for all employee record changes including, but not limited to status changes, pay rate changes, address changes, new hires, terminations, tax withholdings, and direct deposit informationParticipate in projects as assigned by the Human Resources Manager or other leadershipMaintains confidentiality of all informationMaintains and reviews changes for proper authorization and adherence to policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulationsAll other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred. PHR certification a plusMinimum 2-4 years Human Resources experienceMust be able to work with minimal instruction, but willing to accept and take direction.REQUIREMENTS (cont.): Prior experience with the use of modern business applications and skills.
