Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the bustling city of Miami Beach, Florida. The role is situated within the vibrant and fast-paced hospitality industry, and will provide the successful candidate with the chance to engage in a variety of HR-related tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Engage in the efficient and precise processing of HR-related documents and activities.
• Establish and maintain detailed employee records, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Address and resolve any HR-related inquiries, providing a high level of service to all staff members.
• Monitor and manage staff accounts, implementing appropriate actions when necessary.
• Utilize computer skills to manage data and information, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills in all HR functions.
• Apply HR experience within the hotel industry to effectively manage and resolve HR-related issues.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new HR procedures and responsibilities. Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in HR roles within the hospitality industry would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of HR practices and policies.
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
• Willingness to continually update knowledge and skills in the HR field.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required.
• Certification in HR (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) would be a plus. TalentMatch®
