Role Overview

As an HR Intern focused on Employee Development, you will support the planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives aimed at enhancing employee skills and career growth. This role will provide hands-on experience in project management, stakeholder collaboration, and program development, allowing you to make a meaningful impact within ADT’s HR organization.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: Assist in developing a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure effective execution of the Employee Development initiative. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on best practices in employee development and analyze current organizational needs to inform program design and implementation. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various HR Centers of Excellence departments and key stakeholders to gather input, foster buy-in, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Program Design and Development: Help design training modules, workshops, and resources aimed at enhancing employee skills and career growth, incorporating feedback from stakeholders. Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish metrics for success and assist in tracking the progress of the project, ensuring continuous improvement through feedback and evaluations. Reporting and Presentation: Prepare reports and presentations on project outcomes and recommendations for leadership, showcasing the impact of the Employee Development work stream on overall organizational performance.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and presenting ideas clearly. Analytical Thinking: Capacity to analyze data and feedback to make informed decisions and improvements to development programs. Collaboration: Team-oriented mindset to work effectively with various departments and build relationships across the organization. Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate changing priorities and tackle challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

Additional Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Graduation date between May 2025 and June 2026. GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Details:

Compensation: $22/hour for undergraduates, $25/hour for those enrolled in a graduate program. Work Schedule: A 40-hour workweek is expected, with interns on-site from Monday to Wednesday, and the option to work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays, depending on team schedules. Housing allowance and relocation assistance are not offered for Internship roles.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship. Must be available for the entire duration of the internship program, from May 19-July 31, 2025.
