About the Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of all aspects of the HR department. This role is critical in shaping and implementing company policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, managing recruitment and payroll functions, and overseeing employee relations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing HR programs that support business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management
Develop and implement company policies and programs to align with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, making policy recommendations as needed.
Oversee all HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Manage personnel files and oversee the annual performance review process.
Monitor employee attendance, sick leave, and disciplinary processes while providing guidance to managers and employees.
Assess training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and development.
Corporate Communications & Employee Engagement
Establish and maintain internal communication strategies through platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
Coordinate company events (e.g., holiday luncheons, recognition awards, and employee engagement initiatives).
Manage employee recognition programs and internal messaging related to HR updates.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
Oversee payroll processing via ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Track vacation, sick, and personal time while serving as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
Manage 401(k) plan enrollments, compliance, and contributions.
Handle insurance policy renewals, claims processing, and benefits administration.
Office & Compliance Management
Ensure workplace safety standards are met and act as the liaison with the building lease/management company.
Track and manage OSHA compliance and prepare required filings.
Supervise office supplies inventory, custodial staff, and facility contractors.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience inhuman resources management, ideally with at least5+ years of HR leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.
Experience using ADP or similar HR/payroll software.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise both employees and management on HR policies.
Ability to lead strategic HR initiatives that enhance workplace culture and employee engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)preferred.
Familiarity with ISO compliance and reporting standards.
Experience coordinating company-wide events and engagement programs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
