The Human Resources Manager provides expertise and guidance to leadership and clients on matters regarding the workforce. Building strong relationships with team members, the HR Manager fosters a culture of family spirit. The Manager helps Leadership determine strategies and executes plans for talent development. The Manager also oversees and assists with general human resources duties, such as payroll, benefits, recordkeeping and training. The Manager may review, update and deploy new human resources policies and practices.This is a hybrid position.
\n\n\nResponsibilities
\n\nGuide leadership in employee relations and performance management.\nAdminister employee compensation, training and benefit programs.\nDrive a first-class onboarding experience for new hires.\nServes as the primary knowledge center for questions regarding company policies, practices and regulations.\nProcess, verify and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, training and performance evaluations.\nResponsible for payroll data integrity and time card processing.\nMaintains personnel files, monitors deadlines, timely follow up.\nPoint of contact for training and professional development opportunities, memberships and classes.\nLeads employee morale initiatives.\nAssist with recruiting and staffing assignments as needed.\nMonitor and report on employment metrics.\nOther duties as assigned\n\n RequirementsKnowledge & Skills
\n\nPositive attitude, solution oriented and self-motivated.\nEmotionally intelligent and objective decision maker.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\nHigh level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.\nTech savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office 365, ADP, mobile devices.\nStrong knowledge of business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).\nKnowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures.\nExpertise in Title VII, FLSA, ADA/ADAAA, FMLA, COBRA and other applicable laws.\nKnowledge of FMLA/leave administration, performance management, unemployment and workers’ compensation, and employee relations.\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\nKnowledge of State and local governmental compliance requirements.\nExperienced in conflict resolution techniques.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\n\nEducation & Experience
\n\nBachelor’s Degree preferred\n4+ years of related experience\nBilingual English/Spanish beneficial\nHR Certification preferred\n\nTravel Requirements
