Daikin Applied is seeking a Human Resources Manager to administer policies relating to all phases of Human Resources activities.

Location: In office, Staunton, VA.

 

What you will do:  

Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are complying Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals Administers Human Resources transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations Tracks employee statistics for government reporting Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment Provides recommendations regarding resolution of employee relations issues Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization Maintains Affirmative Action Plan and ensures compliance with OFCCP regulations Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations

Qualifications:  

4-year bachelor’s degree 5 years related experience and/or training PHR or SPHR certification preferred
