You will be responsible for overall HR function in Singapore, covers strategic HR partnership, oversight and serving as a trusted advisor to all people-related matters. Your position entails comprehensive HR generalist responsibility in managing and running day-to-day HR operations and ensuring HR compliance. Key responsibilities include aligning the HR strategy with AGI business objectives, cultivating a positive workplace culture, making HR-relevant decisions and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and guidelines. It also involves active engagement as an experienced member of the global HR Operations community.
What you do:
Serve as primary contact for HR inquiries, providing strategic guidance, advisory and resolving all HR matters for employees and managers Work closely with Global and AP HR teams to manage and execute HR processes, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing local requirements
Additionally, you lead, oversee and run key processes, including but not limited to:
Hiring and Leave Management
Conduct interviews and advises on their hiring decisions Drive and coordinate onboarding procedures, including the preparation of employment contracts and related documentation, ensuring an up-to-date experience in the onboarding tool Ensure new joiners background checks are properly conducted and adhering to regulatory requirements Drive and coordinate HR offboarding procedures, including the preparation of separation letters and associated documentation
Rewards and Benefits
Act as the subject matter expert for the day-to-day administration, updates, renewals and reviews of all benefits, including the employee share program, group insurance and pensions, Employee Assistance Programme, and more. Ensure alignment with market best practices and other Allianz Group entities in Singapore In charge for benefits management, including conducting annual renewal procedures in collaboration with brokers for quotations, providing staff information, arranging payments, and communicating with staff
Payroll and Vendor Administration
Manage the relationship and service level agreements (SLAs) Act as the liaison between AGI and the local payroll service provider Conduct pre-and post-payroll controls to ensure process integrity and audit compliance
Employee Data Management
Ensure data quality and HR data compliance by validating, maintaining and updating employee records in HR systems and database throughout the employee life cycle Generate various reports based on HR systems and dashboards on a regular basis, in accordance with defined scopes and regulatory requirements to steer the business
Employee Relations
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing employee relations issues and ensuring a fair and consistent approach Assist management and Lead HRBP and/or Head of Consultancy with appropriate resolution of employee related issues. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and conflict resolution
Country HR Governance
Serve as contact point and representative for audit and other regulatory reporting like Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) Provide the framework and manages the implementation of global and regional HR processes and policies. Offer comments and feedback to HR peers on any implementation gaps or concerns Ensure the accuracy and conduct the annual review of the employee handbook, document library, benefits inventory, and related materials Responsible that all HR processes, documentation, policies, and guidelines in Singapore comply fully with local legal, fiscal, and regulatory requirements, as well as internal AGI policies and the process compliance framework Identify and drive necessary changes, ensuring protocols are maintained, and serve as the go-to person for exceptions or escalations. Ensure documentation of exemptions provided Proactively propose sustainable improvements to HR processes through harmonization, simplification, enhanced employee experience, and operational effectiveness and efficiency Oversee and implement necessary changes regarding compliance and policy updates, such as GDPR, RIM policy, tax implications, and other global or local developments
What you bring:
Minimum 10 years of professional HR experience with a minimum of 5 years in a multinational company environment Proven experience in a senior HR role, combining HRBP and Generalist responsibilities Proven experience as Senior Manager (SM) a plus Growth-oriented and driven by innovation, with a proactive approach to HR challenges Deep understanding of HR best practices and employment laws, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment Expertise in using SAP HCM to manage HR processes and data effectively Solid hands-on experience and knowledge in local HR practices and statutory requirement Experience in managing HR projects is an advantage, showcasing the ability to drive initiatives from concept to completion Ability to manage difficult situation with tact and diplomacy, and multi-task in a fast-paced, matrixed environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations, enhancing decision-making and strategic planning
