Human Resources Manager
Connexus Energy is searching for a Manager of Human Resources who will provide expertise and professional support to enhance the performance of the business in the areas of compensation and recognition, performance management, benefits, training and development, employee relations, policy development, recruiting, and more. Location: Work for this position can be performed both on-site at our campus located at 14601 Ramsey Blvd, Ramsey, MN 55303, and from your local home office, as duties require. While this position is designated as a limited hybrid role, based on our current policy, hires must reside in or relocate within commuting distance to our office in Ramsey, MN. Compensation: The anticipated hiring range for this role is between $112,200.00 and $147,200.00 annually. The final compensation offered is based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 12% of annual earnings based on company performance. In this position, you will manage: + Compensation and Recognition – Managing the design and administration of our compensation program in support of the company’s cost and performance expectations, while applying market-based pay and pay-for-performance practices. + Performance Management and Employee Relations – Leads performance management efforts and supports leaders with employee relations issues. + Benefits – Leadership responsibility of our insurance plans, including annual renewal, paid time off and retirement savings plans in alignment with our total rewards philosophy. + Training and Development – Manages the development of onsite and remote training opportunities for employees and leaders. + Policies – Leads and manages our employee policy initiatives, including requirements due to changing legislation. + Recruiting – Assist in the recruitment and hiring process to fill open positions. + Other – As interest, time and experience permit, take on a variety of other assignments in the department. Need to have: + Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field + 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources + 3+ years leadership experience Nice to have: + HR certification, such as SPHR, PHR or SHRM + Masters level degree Experience with: + Microsoft Suite of products, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint + Various HR, Applicant Tracking, and/or Performance Management systems Ability to: + Effectively communicate and work well with others + Collaborate and lead projects and teams + Analyze complex issues and apply problem-solving skills + Run multiple projects at one time and stay organized + Handle sensitive and confidential information + Work effectively with all levels of employees and management About Connexus Energy: Based in Ramsey, Connexus Energy is Minnesota’s largest electric cooperative, providing electricity, renewable energy alternatives and related services to 145,000+ residential and commercial members just north of the Twin Cities.
