Caterpillar has an exciting opportunity for a **Human Resources Manager** to join our IPSD team in Griffin, GA. **What you will do:**
As a Manager Human Resources at Caterpillar, you will implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, provide guidance on HR policies and practices, and foster a culture of employee engagement and development. You will work with all levels of leadership and be involved in the coordination, development and execution of HR initiatives and projects for our 120-person facility:
+ Collaborate with management to help identify, prioritize and implement HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
+ Align HR policies and programs for the facility which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
+ Provide guidance and expertise to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, policies and procedures, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
+ Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
+ Develop, coordinate and implement programs to ensure proper and effective staffing, selection, onboarding, skill development and succession planning.
+ Actively participate as a functional resource on the facility leadership team ensuring human resources is an integral focus of the business strategy.
+ Provide guidance and direction to facility leadership on how best to maintain and improve the work environment.
+ Assist managers in addressing individual and organizational effectiveness issues, performance management and compensation administration.
**What You Have:**
+ **Business Acumen:** Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
+ **Knowledge of Organization:** Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
+ **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
+ **Leadership** : Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
+ **Data Gathering and Reporting:** Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
+ **Employee Relations** : Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
+ **Talent Management** : Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
+ 8+ years of progressive responsibility experience in Human Resources
+ Relevant HR Certifications
+ Demonstrated experience partnering with leadership delivering people strategies and initiatives impacting business results
+ Experience in HR in a facility environment, ideally a small or focused facility
**Additional information:**
+ This role typically has an advanced degree at 8 or more years of human resources experience.
+ The primary location for this position is Griffin, Georga.
+ Domestic relocation is available.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
